「拆政府」行動延燒，除了鎖定總統馬英九、副總統吳敦義和行政院長江宜樺行程抗議外，18日晚間數千人走上街頭。內政部除了再次說明大埔徵收原則外，也對苗栗縣府拆遷權責表示尊重。
大埔4戶遭拆滿月，民間不滿政府官員尚未回應「道歉賠償、地歸原主、徹查弊案、立即修法」訴求，台灣農村陣線與捍衛農鄉聯盟號召群眾聚集凱道前抗議。
晚會結束後，抗議群眾轉往內政部辦公大樓廣場，大家除了拿出噴漆、貼紙在強柱上表達不滿，一群藝術大學學生，更自發在內政部廣場前地上，彩繪一幅總統馬英九指揮怪手的圖畫，藉此諷刺政府濫權強拆民宅。

農陣指出，2011年底，行政院長江宜樺在內政部長任內，曾主導土地徵收條例修法，然而僅做些許文字調整，對於真正落實公益性、必要性及建立民主對等的聽證程序等條文至今闕如。 (接下一頁)
