在今年的德國法蘭克福車展當中，BMW的參展陣容可說是相當盛大，除了在BMW i品牌方面，早已確定量產型的i3與i8作為主秀之外，前些日子在Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance首度現身的M4 Concept應該也不會缺席，但BMW緊接著再度宣佈，將會更進一步推出採用Plug-in Hybrid插電式油電複合動力設定的概念SUV─Concept X5 eDrive，以豐富的參展陣容展現出地主品牌的氣勢。
