斜坡停車打P檔, 熄火後車子向後滑...這是正常的嗎?

朋友在斜坡打P檔暫停(未拉手煞車)下車買東西, 車上的家人為了環保幫他把車子熄火, 想不到一熄火車子就往後滑, 還好車子輪胎有打斜因此撞上山壁, 否則連人帶車就要掉下山谷了, 不過朋友為了擋車還是把手腳都弄骨折了...

小弟聽到之後覺得蠻奇怪的, 小弟的觀念是, 不管是否熄火, 打P擋都會讓變速箱鎖住前輪, 在斜坡上無論如何都能停住車子, 只是有可能損壞變速箱而已, 想不到熄火前車子不動, 熄火後車子竟然還會滑動?

這是小弟觀念錯誤還是有其他可能發生的原因? 還請各位不吝賜教. 對了, 朋友的車是CR-V三代

在此還是要宣導一下斜坡停車的正確方法
