前男友欠錢不還

如題

前男友曾跟我借了一萬五，他只還了六千，後面就一直推拖

已經過了一年多，那剩下的九千仍然一直沒還

陸續都有傳給我匯款資料或收據，但我戶頭就是沒有那筆帳進來

我有研究過要寫存證信函

是直接去郵局拿紙嗎?
還是我該怎麼做??

或是直接申請支付命令或小額訴訟呢??

是要去法院還是警局一趟呢??

苗栗頭份是要去那裏可以提告呢??

我被弄得一頭霧水，希望有好心人可以幫我回答
