錦織圭：非常開心的2周

24歲日本「網球王子」錦織圭在美國網球公開賽男子單打冠軍戰，以3比6、3比6、3比6，不敵克羅埃西亞好手西利奇(Marin Cilic)，無緣亞洲球員首座大滿貫冠軍，但仍是亞洲最佳紀錄。若範圍擴大至亞裔，成就也僅次1989年法國公開賽冠軍、美國籍臺灣裔名將、他的現任教練張德培。

錦織圭說：「已經盡了全力，也打出自己風格的網球。是場很困難的比賽。能首次進到大滿貫決賽，想要感謝我的團隊，沒能拿到獎盃很對不起。不過是非常開心的2周，希望明年會更好。」(王毓健／綜合報導)
