韓國投手金成民，今(19)日面對拿下巴拿馬完投完封勝，賽後訪問時，金成民對自己的表現卻不滿意，他說「投得不好！」看得出這位小選手隊為自己的要求相當高。
總教練金成勳表示，「一開始在挑選球員時，其實沒特別注意到他，因為他所屬的球隊並不強，是因為他的教練強力推薦，後來才發現金成民是聰明的投手，出手的時間點能擾亂打者出棒節奏。」
身高155公分，右投右打的金成民選擇3號作為背號，是因為韓國職棒起亞虎隊的金善彬是他的偶像，金成民球齡雖然只有兩年，但投起球來相當犀利，只是，一下場就成了話不多的靦腆「小正太」。
在比賽期間，金成民很希望能和美國隊做朋友，「因為他們棒球很強！」被問到未來會不會想去美國打球，他搖搖頭說，「想在韓國打職棒。」
除此之外，他也對日本的投手印象深刻，「日本第一場比賽的先發(澤村昇太)，投得很好。」
