美國豪華電動車品牌的TESLA，成立雖僅十年，但毫無疑問已經成為當今車壇最具代表性的電動車品牌，不過TESLA並為此自滿，反倒是逆向思考開放旗下專利，企圖坐大電動車市場，以擴大自身利益，雖然目前旗下產品Model S、Roadster，但未來還將有明年初量產的Model X，以及一款規劃中的入門車型將加入銷售戰線。
