請問~Sony ion下載google map離線版，登入失敗?

不好意思，
請教各位大大，
我目前的手機是sony ion，
google map已更新到最新版本，

但最新版的並不支援日本離線下載(香港可以)，

所以在網路上找到舊版本，保有google研究室，預載地圖功能，日本也可正常下載16公里的地圖，
但開啟就會出現登入失敗，通知列就會出現黃色三角警示圖案，要求授權，
輸入正確的gmail帳號密碼，也都無法登入，

請問究竟該如何使用呢，真的很抱歉，詢問這麼麻煩的問題，
但我找了好多資料，都沒有正確的方法，
所以希望知道的朋友，可以不吝指教，謝謝

PS.我知道離線地圖有很多軟體，也有取代的方法，google map實在太好用了，還有指南針功能，可以引導正確的方向，雖然沒有導航，但跟著藍色箭頭指著景點的方向，往前走，可以讓步行的旅途更順利，也更輕鬆，所以麻煩大家了

PS.也有考慮使用日本上網方案，但因為同行友人只要有網路，就會不斷地想打卡上網，所以後來還是決定出國旅遊能盡量體驗當地，不要使用網路，唯一只希望能使用地圖來幫幫忙指引，謝謝
