遊騎兵隊先發野手群之前多人掛傷號，如今就快到齊，只差二壘手Jurickson Profar的四顆智齒。

Profar先前肩膀發炎，仍舊照常出賽，不守二壘、改打DH，40打數擊出12支安打，包括2發紅不讓，11分打點。就在Alex Rios、Geovany Soto歸隊的這天，Profar跑去拔智齒，退出戰線，而且得再休3到5天。

原本這一天，遊騎兵隊要看看Profar是否能接應轉傳，但拔牙影響這項計畫。等到Profar回到熱身賽，並擔任二壘手，離開幕已經不遠，而且他也一直沒跟游擊手Elvis Andrus搭配、練習雙殺，但總教練Ron Washington並不擔心。

「能否完成雙殺的關鍵，在於球是否傳到位，」Washington教頭說，「要是內野手傳球到位，那麼搭檔是誰，沒差。」
